This paper is an analysis of peer-reviewed articles that utilised routinely collected HIV data from Zambia within six programme areas from 2004 to 2014. Articles on HIV, published in English, listed in the Directory of open access journals, African Journals Online, Google scholar, and PubMed were reviewed.Evaluation accuracy was measured in 16 items and had a 3.10 score. Evaluation satisfaction was measured in 14 items and had a 3.07 score. Overall, these numbers can be interpreted to mean that many of the people had a positive perception of the evaluation effectiveness.
