2012 2-dr JK - I actually just had my thermostat changed and that's when I started having trouble with the fan always running on High. On Start, it is fine. But driving it up my road at 35mph, in no time it's kicking on High. Once it gets on high speed, the temp fluctuates between half to 3/4 hot.

When cold 100% of the coolant bypasses the radiator. Also it is not really possible to make the JK radiator any larger in area - only thicker - which is marginal for extra cooling. Higher speeds didn't help cool it off. In older vehicles that had questionable cooling fans, you could just drive 50-60 and the airflow through radiator was enough to keep your engine happy.
