Just bought a 2019 Armada SL with 48K miles on it. Drove it for approximately 2.5 weeks and started encountering an issue with the car firing up when pressing the ignition button. Then the dashboard lights started and finally the dreaded BCI malfunction came on. Took it to my local Nissan dealership and they ran their diagnostics. After much conversation and frustration the vehicle is back at the dealership for the 4th time for the same problem. I purchased the vehicle new June 13, 2019 and the problems started Sept 4th 2019. - San Antonio, TX, USA. We have a 2015 QX80 and started getting the BCI malfunction warning a few months ago (June of 2022). After some google searching, I came across this thread. So, I thought I would try replacing the brake switch. I ordered a Beck/Arnley aftermarket switch from Rock Auto and installed it. It didn't make any difference with the BCI Malfunction.

The ones that are going off are the 2 in the middle. You can unplug them & keep the 2 on the outside still plugged in & they’ll continue to work.
