He checked and said I was about a fingertip dilated/about 1 cm and cervix is soften! He didn't say anything about effacement (whatever that means!)With my last pregnancy, I was 3 cm dilated/ 100% effaced and funneling at 30 weeks and ended up going to 39+3. 🤷 And when I delivered I was still at 3 cm and -3 station at my last check 30 minutes before.
