2022 Touring - Walk away door locks? I've seen this asked for other years, and the answer is "no." However, wondering if things have changed. We just got a new 2022 Forester Touring, and was wondering if this thing has walk-away auto locking doors. My Honda has it (2018 Ridgeline) and I've been surprised that this one hasn't looked itself yet. You have to use the fob or hold your finger on the pixel indent on the handle on either the driver or passenger side door. Oddly, if you walk past the car without getting in, it will unlock when you get close, like normal, and then lock again when you walk away. I myself installed one in a 2021 Crosstrek premium and it only took me 10 minutes to install. It does not affect your warranty.
