I would recommend a Freelancer or a Cutlass as the largest ships to solo. I see people taking about the Constellation, but realistically you need 4 people for it: pilot, two turret gunners, and a pilot for the snub fighter. Folks on this sub tend to way over-estimate the ability to solo in massive ships.

I would say the largest ships that can still be somewhat effectively used solo would be the Constellation series, Corsair, and 600i. Personally I prefer the Connie for it's simple layout, effective weapons, drive through cargo bay, and snub fighter (when it works).
