I have had Comcast, RCN, and Verizon. RCN is good because they are cheap and not Comcast or Verizon, but their reliability can be spotty. I have had several outages with RCN compared to one or two with Comcast and none with Verizon. Their customer service is also not the best and is pretty incompetent. Comcast, despite its shitty rep, was not bad.
