Ram rotary shifter stuck in park.

Now, won't start, dash and radio lights go on and off, wipers on and off. Had it towed to local dealership and it started up fine several times. No trouble codes were found.I did search around and got conflicting info on whether the shift linkage is inside or outside the trans housing. Any help is appreciated. Mine were not tightend to spec. Tech put on a scanner, with in 1 hour had the issue solved and tightend the eyelets to the ground bolt.

The software fix included in a recent RECALL added the door open to prohibit starting. My problems began after that "FIx". Check with the dealer for 2 possible fixes 1.
