He can do insanely high amounts of damage by just stacking speed, accuracy and damage. You don't even really have to book him to get those high numbers.

I used occult on magic he seemed to do pretty well. Overall if you can only build 1 poisoner for the time being and want reliable damage go with occult brawler. if you can build both go for it. For unreliable damage go with Frozen banshee. Although I will say you never go wrong with occult brawler. 1.
