The only thing you can really adjust is the air/fuel pilot screw which should be out about 2 1/2 turns or so. If you know the carb is really clean, jets and passages as well, then you need to re-jet it for the snorkel. However, it should usually run decent at low speeds and cut out at higher speeds if it was a jetting problem.
