I replaced my 1600w front and rear motors on my zero 11x with 5000w motors and of course a new high amp controller (400 amp rated) and a much larger battery 72v 150ah. I went from 65mph top speed to well over 100mph. Though I do not suggest it. But back to the speed limit removal it’s the two white micro switches on white wire.
To my surprise it did not work. I maxed the throttle for a while and the speed was still limited. The speed limiter is set to 25km/h. After modifying the wheel size in the LCD, the speed limiter kicked in at 14km/h (the actual 25km/h). So I guess the speed limiter is built within the motor hub.
