I have both a P365 & a P320 (M18 with X-Compact grip) and my first thought was the same as yours. But then I realized for anything but range plinking (and maybe a nightstand gun) I honestly prefer the P365... making a slightly larger P365 makes more sense IMO than trying to make a 'small' (cuz it still ain't) P320.
