It was probably 4 hours total if you don't include the 2+ hours I spent soloing and also farming zigazag. Waterworks may be easier to farm for at first since you can respawn at least one of the bosses. House of scales is a bit more offensive gear, lots opt for the robe and hat from there. I think the waterworks boots are best though. I might have the hat and boots switched in my head though. Also, I'm told you'll often find maxes running ww for snacks.
