Anderson manhunt is by far the most efficient exotic farm right now. Summit specifically has pathetic drop rates even on Legendary with 5 directives (what I play). Anderson is a guaranteed exotic every 10-15 minutes. Even better if you play with friends and you share loot.

Backpack is pretty good (better than the chest), so it's a pretty safe bet. The striker backpack doesn't give you more damage but it does give you 40% more stack gained per shot from .65% to 1%. So the memento backpack is the better choice since you'd be picking up trophies.
