I had one of their VX Freedom 1.5-4x with the Firedot and 30mm tube, pretty much similar specs with the VX3HD but with lower glass quality (still awesome glass nonetheless). But I couldn't get used to the 1.5 up close though. Everything else is great: red dot bright, light weight, great eye box and consistent eye relief. The VX-Freedom 1.5-4x is the lightest LPVO I know of at 9.6 oz and $240. The VX-4.5HD 1-4.5x is 12.4 oz and $1400. The Trijicon Accupoint 1-4x is the next lightest at 14.4 oz and $900.
