Having shot the ksg, ks7 mossberg 500 many 200 rounds range sessions each over the years. I find conventional pump guns much easier to reload and clear malfunctions. Here are both stock assemblies partially and fully taken apart. In the ksg there is a lever that selects the tube you feed from, and it has a tendency to wear. In the ks7 it's just a solid claw like an 870. The ksg also had a heavy feeling pump, ks7 has a really nice feeling throw.
