I understand that this is the same bar as a John Deere 1780. I do like it BUT .....the cylinders in the center of the bar decided to quit lifting during planting last spring.

Jan 13, 2023 · I've said most of this before but still feel it's a decent soybean planter and below average corn planter (too heavy with the row units "up"). We haven't had the wheel bearing issues, but it's also not a 16/31 model, which may have been causing the issues with extra weight.
