What i meant is simple, voice acting isn't a necessary factor in killing a game. It can obviously affect production, but that's secondary to the point at hand. Make sure to check and double-check all the settings. I've had a number of weird sound issues with the game where settings just changed for no reason at all; anything from sound being set to mute, to volume being 0, to the game somehow blocking all other sound channels. Check your audio settings. If you have surround sound enabled but don't actually have a surround speaker set up, the game tries to put the voice acting channel to a speaker that doesn't exist. It's several sounds, like the linkshell noise, the /tell notification, and duty pop. They are super loud, like 10x louder than my actual game. Set your default output device to Arctis Game (the issue is the default switches itself over to Arctis Chat.). Make sure your settings save.
