Simple shotgun is amazing if something gets the jump on you because of the damage. Pumps are good for caves. Longneck is useless to use for killing, only use for knocking things out. Fabricated sniper is a good gun to use on the back of a tame like a Griffin or a thyla. Don't bother with pistols or the assault rifle because they're useless.

there is no machined sniper in ark. but a fabricated sniper rifle and a longneck rifle. The fabricated sniper rifle got a scope already. so you can add a second attachment like a silencer, flashlight or laser. you can use a scope on the longneck, pistol or fabricated pistol. if you use darts with the longneck you cant use any attachments.
