I dont know about cooking pots but yellow cases and ammo boxes last much longer than 8 days. A buddy of mine has an ammo box laying behind his tent that he thru away two weeks ago and its still there. I have 12 yellow cases stashed around the airfield full of ammo and I put the first one down sometime last month.

I like the addition of being able to dry, smoke, and cook meat in the small stoves in houses, but inurgently needed to cook some steak to eat and wasn't near a house, crafted a fireplace and drill kit as normal, but then couldn't attach a steak to the long stick like before? I did attach the steak to the fireplace but it burnt fairly quickly.

In patch 1.12 they added the game feature where some car parts can only be removed with a screwdriver, maybe the oven thinks it's a car 😊. I tried get some action using pickaxe, pliers, pan, crowbar, hatchet and two-hands axe. Nothing happened.
