As far as revolver grips, I have purchased several grips from Altamont Grips for my Colt Pythons and they look and feel great as well. I'm sure Altamont may offer 1911 grips, but, I haven't checked. I'm impressed! They are thicker than the original rubber grips but my large hands like them better. The factory Browning screws need the shoulder turned down.
