My brother had this issue with his GF3. The magazine release was slightly canted which prevented the mags from locking in. You either need to file the locking lug on the magazines that don’t fit, or file the mag release itself. GF3 is super solid, I like my GF3 more than my WASR. I bought a Ruger mini 30 at $1100 and a GF4 at $800. The AK is easily better while the Ruger looks crude. The advantage of the Ruger is it looks like a bolt action rifle and is a sleeper of sorts.
