D Long vs Rune Scim xp/hr. Intuitively everyone would say D Long, it's a higher tier weapon after all. However when calculating dps based on max hit divided by speed, rune scim comes out on top by a slim margin. This does not take accuracy in to account.

For strength use a d scim. Attack or defence use the whip. You can go the pray pot method or use absorbtions. If you want to use absorbtions get 70 defense first for the bonuses from Torags/DH on defense. Dharoks. Stats are 70 attack 70 strength and 61 defence. That will determine which type of weapon you want to use. From there you can pick based on your level. So currently your options would be Mithril Sword for Stab, Mithril Mace for Crush, and ideally Mithril Scimitar for Slash, but you could also use a Mithril Sword, Mithril Longsword, or Mithril 2h.
