Periodically the downstream light on the modem starts blinking white ("modem is scanning for a downstream channel"), and the only way to get it to stop blinking and stay on steadily is to restart the modem.We are aware of an issue where the downstream LED on the CM2000 and CM2050V occasionally blinks. This is the expected behavior of firmware V1.01.05 and it does not negatively affect connectivity or performance. We plan to address this issue in the next firmware release.
