Lubiprostone has given me relief. I have had IBS with constipation for 30 years. Many different medicines I have tried ,this has helped tremendously. Only after a 4 day hospital stay for colitis was this given. Only side effects are I have constant mild bowel contractions. Only annoying at night. It affects my sleep but won’t stop taking this.
