To my understanding the drop rate of exotics is supposed to be 25% for Legend and 30% for Master Lost Sectors. I've done most of them on Legend but I did do several hours of Master for a few of them and I'd say my rate feels like 33-40% overall. Bray.tech is saying that Nothing Manacles have a 31% chance to drop as the exotic item. What is the drop rate for legend lost sectors? This is what most people are probably interested in. I tracked a total of 604 lost sectors and got 138 exotic drops for a total drop rate of 22.85%. It depends on the lost sector and how fast you can consistently clear that particular lost sector on each difficulty. The Master drop rate is higher, but it is not 2x as high. So, if you are clearing Legend in 5m and Master in 10m, running twice the number of Legend in the same time it would take to do Master will probably get you more drops ...Methinks it should be something like a 25% legend base drop rate, and after 4 completions with no rewards you will get one, guaranteed to be one you don't already have if applicable. But, to your point, 'it a waste of your time" - I think this comes down to personal skill and the lost sector itself.
