Had a mouse build a nest behind the battery and chew the wires on the sub-harness that goes to the fuel pump relay. It would still run but I still replaced the sub-harness.

Both times I've ridden about 4-5 miles then it starts sputtering and acts like it wants to die. The first time I feathered the throttle and it kept running and smoothed out.Just flush it, put some fuel in it and shake it around and dump.
