The spring migration in 2021 was very similar to 2020, with migration patterns influenced by both water temperatures and the prevalance of menhaden. Schools of big striped bass were less widespread and often concentrated in discrete areas at specific times, which likely reflects the documented decline in numbers of large stripers.
