As the title says, bought two gotrax scooters, for my sons, purchased directly from gotrax, they were “certified refurbished”. When I received them, the batteries were partially charged and worked out of the box, however, when I plugged them in to recharge the batteries, neither one took a charge.
The problem is that I went around my entire block. Almost half the time I had to manual kick which gets really tiring. I can’t imagine going more than 1 mile manually kicking half the time. I've had this issue very occasionally with my GXL. I'll engage the throttle and get no acceleration, even with a rolling start.Charging seems to work.
