Gmc sierra radio display not working.

The truck does not chime of the key is in ignition and the door or open. I know the door switch works as the lights turn on/off as they should. Just the chime doesn't sound.I have a 2004 GMC Sierra SLT Duramax Crew Cab with the rear seat entertainment package (Ceiling mounted DVD and center console radio controls), all stock, nothing aftermarket. I've got an '05 Sierra with all the DIC and radio buttons on the steering wheel. The radio buttons work, as well as the Info and Select buttons (for cycling through headlight delay, key fob, etc. settings) But the fuel economy, tire pressure, etc. buttons do not work- the buttons with the road and gas pump icons.

If the auto dim feature still works then it's not a wiring issue, so unless the display got shut off it's an internal mirror problem. These mirrors are not serviceable as far as I know. The good news is, if your mirror is shot, you should be able to find a nice replacement on ebay for, maybe $30-50 dollars.
