You can also do a quick check of the flywheel magnet by pulling the oil cooler off (will probably have to move over the black firewall panel a bit).

Can anyone provide some guidance on this 1505 fault. Getting frustrated with it. Generac 22kw installed about 3 years now. I have been having an intermittent 1505 fault. It happens about once every 3 exercise cycles. I was able to be in front of the generator a couple times when it happened.I notice that the RPM Sense Fault comes long after the engine has stopped. Which also points to fuel starvation. If the RPM sense loss itself was the fault (such as shorting the kill wire) I think the fault would appear at the same time as the engine shut down.
