With Glock 19s, it might not be the case unless you decide to upgrade to a better pistol grip. Caliber wise, the P320 gets the nod here because of its variety. Depending on which caliber you use, the rounds can actually do some serious damage. A .357 round will do a lot more damage than a 9mm.
Since we are talking about CA,I would say the comparison of Glock 19 vs M&P shield is not a fair one. A Glock 26 vs the shield would be a better comparison. Also a 19 in CA is limited to 10 rounds . That artificial limitation something to be considered in this comparison. For an easier racking slide and a bit better concealability the EZ gets the nod. The 9EZ, from what I've heard from others, has had some issues whereas the 380EZ has not. The slide on the EZ 9mm is much harder to rack than the EZ380.

I compared the Shield Plus with the Springfield XD Mod 2, Glock 26, and P30sk. I honestly dont see too much of a difference especially with the Glock 26. The Shield is actually taller, but the G26 is longer. Seems like being longer in the grip would make the Shield Plus less concealable than the G26.Apples to oranges: Glock 19 is a mid-size double stack. The S&W M&P Shield is a sub-compact single stack pistol. A more direct equivalent would be a M&P9 M2.0 4" Compact. Rule of thumb: shootability is inversely proportional to concealability.
