Glenfield 30a vs marlin 336.

I have a Glenfield model 30, 30A, and 30GT, to go along with a 336 in .35 cal., and a Model 39 Mountie. Its been said the Glennies shoot more accurately than the 336's because of the fore arm end cap. I can't speak to that really, but they have turned me into a Marlin fan. I like them pretty darn well.I'd like a 30-30 20" round barrel, blued, non ramped front sight as a base. By my research it was made in 1973 based on the serial number. There is still plenty of rifling left so it hasn't been used that much. I would first make sure the two larger screws are correct in receiver. The one on the side and forward bottom, same diameter, head, different lengths.
