Hyper stats aren't affected by potentials so you can ignore them completely. Crit rate is decent - get enough to reach 100% but don't overinvest in it (leave it at 5-7 or below). Min/max crit are expensive/inefficient so don't start putting points in them until you can 100% crit. Once you do though, it's as good as damage/boss or better.
