Is the northstar v8 a good engine.

I like big Cadillacs too, but don't care for the Northstar and the fact that they are FWD. My favorites are the full size RWD cars they made in the late 70s - late 80s minus the model years 82-85 because of the HT 4100. Another terrible Cadillac engine.
