So I've started using a build with the dark moon great sword but I haven't figured out how to use it effectively in Pvp I always rely heavily on spells and feel like I'm wasting the swords potential I'm fairly new to pvp and everyone seems to use ROB bloodhound or moonveilA couple of Ash of Wars can go well with a Greatsword - given you have sufficient proficiency in wielding the said weapon. Darkmoon isn't great. You'll be be genuinely better off damage wise with the banished knight greatsword infused with magic, and using a good damaging weapon art on it. That's the biggest problem with elden ring at the moment is just R1's don't do good damage. Hell, get a noble side sword or a straight sword and use it with magic infusion.
