If so why not just use that to run your hydraulics. Forget about tee's and such. You will need to put a reservoir someplace for the fluid and all the stuff to mount the pump but it sounds like you should already have that. Wedge. Recently, I needed to do some heavy work again. The 3 point hitch will not lift at all. I have checked the fluid, the linkage, and greased the fittings all with no results. It is a bit more tractor than a 5000, but not much different. Slightly larger engine displacement and a turbo (which may or may not be a plus depending what type work the tractor will do) give a few more HP. The rest of the tractor is pretty much the same as the 5000. This one has Dual Power (could also be a plus depending on your application).

Ford 3600 Hydraulic Problem. I have a 1977 Ford 3600 that won't maintain position when using anything on the lower arms. It will raise and lower without a problem even with a heavy load but you have to have it all the way up or on the ground. If I want the link box to maintain a height (say 12 " off the ground) it will gently fall back down.
